long time passing

into the laughter of our kids

in parks and streets

that overflow, with joy

We praise the Féile for making good

The words that Bobby said we should!

no clouded smoke to burn and choke

the dreams we still hold dear,

 without the bonfires our kids are free

from feelings of dread and fear!

Loud and clear

for exposing our kids to

 music and rhymes of the present times

no more in the past

and only explosions of excitement

as they sway and dance

sing and romance

in harmony with their own two arms blazing in the air
